The rules are here to keep the community easy to be around, not to micromanage how people play or talk.
- Treat people with basic respect; disagreements are fine, harassment and targeted hostility aren’t.
- Don’t deliberately make shared spaces unpleasant for others.
- Keep public/community spaces reasonably appropriate for a mixed adult audience — 18+ doesn’t mean anything-goes.
- No hate speech, discrimination, or deliberately demeaning people over personal characteristics.
- Don’t pressure people to join games, voice chat, events, or be constantly active.
- Respect privacy; don’t share someone else’s personal information, recordings, screenshots, etc. without good reason/permission.
- Don’t cheat, exploit, grief or deliberately ruin hosted games for others.
- Follow the rules of whichever game/server you’re using, since individual servers may have a few extra rules.
- English is the common language in shared spaces so everyone can follow along, but other languages are absolutely fine between people where it doesn’t exclude others from a shared conversation.
- Staff/admin decisions should be reasonable and explainable, but repeated bad-faith arguing over moderation can itself become disruptive.
Use common sense, treat people decently, and don’t make the community harder for others to enjoy.
Inviting People
Members are welcome to suggest or invite people they think would be a good fit for InHere Games.
We’d rather grow through people who already know the community than have a completely open door, so please use your judgement and invite people you genuinely think would enjoy the group and get along with others.
If you’re unsure, just ask an admin first.
